On Friday the 15th June the installation of the signs advising that motor propelled vehicles are not allowed on the Bobbits lane Bridleway and surrounding land was completed with seven signs positioned prominently at the access points to the sites.
The Police have been updated that the work is now complete and they have re-confirmed that the nuisance activity in Bobbits lane area remains one of the Safer Neighbourhood Team top three priorities and that they will take the appropriate enforcement action.
Two of the fist signs to be installed by Pigeon have been ‘attacked’, and these will be replaced as soon as possible using a more secure fixing method, hopefully following the method of installation used by Greenways for the Signs put up in Bobbits Hole and the site entrance opposite the sewage works at the bottom of Bobbits Lane.
If you hear or see any Motor Bikes on the site can you please call the Police on 101, or report on-line, as the Police are keen to support the community and enforce the law on these sites.
